Slipknot

Slipknot is an American heavy metal band from Des Moines, Iowa. Formed in 1995, the group was founded by percussionist Shawn Crahan and bassist Paul Gray. After several lineup changes in their early days, the band consisted of nine members for the greater part of their tenure: Sid Wilson, Paul Gray, Joey Jordison, Chris Fehn, Jim Root, Craig Jones, Shawn Crahan, Mick Thomson, and Corey Taylor. However, the death of Paul Gray on May 24, 2010, left the band with only eight remaining members. Former guitarist Donnie Steele will be the band’s touring bassist in 2011.

Introduce to metal music

Why I do this?

Well, because a lot of people think that metal is just Satanic things and they worship the devil but no, there’s a lot more behind this and that mixes the passion for music and the feelings of the person who gives the message.

What do I think about this?

  • People have no knowledge of this gender and blindly guide the prejudgments that society follows and do not investigate what is really meant.
  • People think they’re just screaming and that’s it but they never see the background inside the word in a song.
